East Hampton Chamber respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement on our website.

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing:

  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and needs to be removed or access to which needs to be disabled, along with information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material.
  3. Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature or the signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright that has been allegedly infringed.

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will promptly investigate the claim and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the allegedly infringing material. We may also contact the user who posted the allegedly infringing content and provide them with information about the notice and removal.

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages.
